Winter dates bring BIT back to the most appreciated schedule for incoming tourism operators. The 3-day Sunday-Tuesday formula will be maintained, with the inaugural day dedicated to the public of travelers, followed by the two dates for travel operators.
The exhibition area will be more accessible and effective as it will be extended to the overlapping pavilions 3 and 4; in this new setting, the conference rooms will be located in the adjacent MICO Congress Center, with double entrance both from Porta Colleoni and Porta Teodorico.
After last year's success, 2017 areas have been reconfirmed: a great focus will be on the Leisure area, which will be even bigger this year, and on the Wedding one. The MICE segment will be expanded and supervised in this new edition by a specific Advisory Board. All this will be followed by the focuses of Bit4Job (engaging supply and demand of the tourism market), a Bit of Taste (the area of food and wine tourism, on the spotlight in the year dedicated to Italian food) and Be Tech (with its Digital Advisory Board coordinated by Digital Ambassador Alex Kornfeind).
There will also be important news and insights regarding travel agents and new travel trends.
